The first 30 people through the door at Got Craft? (UK) will receive a FREE reusable tote bag from EtsyUK filled with a selection of the goodies featured here from all of our vendors and sponsors! Pretty amazing right? This isn’t even everything!
Not an early riser!? No worries! We have you covered! Check out From Britain With Love, Poppytalk and Got Craft? to win your very own goodie bag prior to the event. That’s right, you have the chance to snag a bag, sleep in and then come shop for handmade goods. It doesn’t get better than that.
When I first moved to London, friends told me that people who live in South London stay in the South and people who live in North London stay in the North. I’m here to tell you that it isn’t true!
To prepare for the first ever Got Craft? London on Sunday, November 27th, we decided to help our visitors make it a day out by rounding up a few of our favourite places South of the Thames. So grab a cuppa, visit our stall holder page to see all of the talented handmade designers that will be at Got Craft? and start planning your weekend!
There are numerous markets to choose from in London and new-to-me Venn Street Market in Clapham is one of my favourite finds. Make sure to pick up a vegan cupcake from Ms. Cupcake and a fancy coffee drink over at Esca Coffee Shop just around the corner. If you wake up late and miss most of the goods, walk down the street to Breads Etcetera on the Clapham High Street for some freshly baked treats!
To escape the hustle and bustle of London, pack up a picnik and take a stroll through Clapham Common. Stretching across 108 acres, you will often find people jogging and playing Rugby. There’s even a skateboard park and cafe.
Heading into Tooting, a local added that the halal mixed grill from Pandoos and the hazelnut dessert from Mirch Masala is a must. Of course, we must not forget our lovely hosts, the Tooting Tram and Social! With their eclectic mix of vintage furniture, the coverted tram shed has a vast selection of beer and wine for you to enjoy. Just across from the Tooting Tram and Social is the Gala Bingo building that was formerly the Granada Tooting Cinema. Built in 1931, it is considered to be one of the most spectacular cinemas in Britain and is open to the public for a peek.
The first 30 people through the doors at Got Craft? UK on Sunday, November 27th at the Tooting Tram and Social will receive a reusable tote bag from Etsy UK! Each bag is filled with a selection of goodies from our stall holders and lovely sponsors including embroidery kits from Sublime Stitching! The items above are just 20% of what will be inside the tote bags!

I first discovered PetitPlat through my obsession with miniatures and especially with my love of fake food, so when I received her application to Got Craft? UK, I almost fainted. Well, maybe not quite, but there was a lot of hand waving, smiles and maybe a few screams of joy! The amount of effort and detail that Stéphanie puts into each clay sculpture is simply amazing especially when you realize that most of her work is smaller than a penny!
Meet Stéphanie and shop for miniature versions of your favourite food at Got Craft? London on Sunday, November 27th, 2011 from 11am-5pm at the Tooting Tram and Social!
Zoe Weir is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer that spends her days designing print material and blogs for Freckled Nest, drawing, blogging and making pretty things!
The Pretty Zoo jewellery collection combines fine materials with illustration to evoke the old-world. An era of collections, cabinets and curiosities. Find her at Got Craft? on Sunday, November 27th at the Tooting Tram and Social from 11am-5pm.
