Based in Portland (OR), Quin Candy is handmade in small batches using top notch ingredients such as real Oregon berries and specially blended fruit and vegetable extracts for colour and flavour. Each piece of candy is then cut by hand before being packaged for you to enjoy – YUM. We popped open the strawberry lemon gumdrops and we had to hide them before we finished the bag. Taste testing, right? Seriously though. Pick up a bag (or 2 or 3!) online or come by the shop before we eat them all!
Eep! I apologize for the radio silence. We took a mini family break during the month of January, but we’re happy to announce that we are back and operating normal hours of 11-4pm Wednesday to Sunday again! If you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen some of our holiday pictures. Is there anything else more relaxing than ocean waves and eating coconut shrimp!? Ha.
First of all, I want to thank you for supporting London Fields Shoppe! We had an amazing holiday season and are super excited to be planning more workshops and to be bringing in new products. We’ll be sharing more details soon, but our new lightboxes have finally arrived – hooray! We’ve already sold a good amount of our new shipment, so if you have been waiting for one, make sure to check them out in shop or online by clicking here. Each lightbox comes with a set of 85 letters and symbols and can be fully customized with whatever message you would like to say. Perfect for events and celebrations such as weddings or baby showers, wall decor, craft fair and shop displays or whatever else you can think of.
Here’s a quick sneak peek on some of the vintage finds that we brought into the shop this week! Two of my biggest weaknesses are vintage Christmas ornaments and vintage children’s illustrations, so I’m surprised that these are even making it to the shop – HA!
A complete set of The Wonderful Worlds of Walt Disney hardcover books – Stories From Other Lands, America, Worlds of Nature, and FantasyLand. Printed by Golden Press in 1965 and in good condition with very minor wear and tear.
Paper Vintage Christmas Ornaments! These are probably one of my most favourite items in the shop right now! From an estate of a past window dresser of Eaton’s, these ornaments are absolutely amazing. Sold as a set of 6 (in its original box).
Additional images available upon request. Contact us here for more details or stop by the shop! (Ornaments are available at the shop, but won’t be on display until closer to the holiday season!)
Look what arrived! With a whole year of loveliness to coo over, just try wiping the smile off your dial when flipping through the brand new 2016 Frankie calendar and the 2016 Frankie diaries!
Calendars: Each month is spruced up with illustrations from some of our favourite artists, like Leah Goren, Amyisla McCombie, Laura Berger and Min Pin. Printed on thick, matte stock, with tonnes of space to scribble special dates and reminders all throughout 2016. It’s the perfect piece of art to hang in your office, bedroom, kitchen, or anywhere else you can pop up a hook.
Diaires: Pretty florals, dots, stripes and cute shapes have been carefully hand-drawn by Frankie illustrator Sara Hingle and sweetly bound in cloth, ready to keep you company all year long. Featuring a week to a double-page layout as well as a weekly notes section for all your important scribbles, dates and daily jottings, it’s 160 pages of organised good times, and the perfect size to fit into every satchel, tote or backpack.
Click ‘calendar‘ or ‘diary‘ to find them online or come by the shop and pick one up in person!
