Elliot’s First Birthday

Elliot-bday-inviteAre you surviving the heat wave that has hit Vancouver the past few weeks? We have definitely blown our budget for iced beverages and have been pretty much spending our days from one air conditioned shop to another. It’s hot as Hades out there!

Last weekend, we celebrated Elliot’s first birthday with a picnic in the park. I know we used to plan events for a living, but man, oh man, personal events are always stressful. It was so good though! Robert’s family was all here including his sister from the BVI and his aunt, who just met Elliot for the first time last week! As part of our take away gifts, we had Lisa from Draw Me A Lion create a postcard that the kids (and adults) could colour and keep. She illustrated the image above of Elliot’s favourite things – ice cream and cats! Feel free to save the image on your desktop, print it, and then colour.

Stay cool, my friends!
