DIY :: confetti business cards

DIY biz card1DIY biz card 4DIY biz card2DIY biz card3We commissioned the super talented the pauhaus to help us redesign our business cards last year. Aren’t they cute? They say ‘can’t wait to hear from you!’ on the back. I’m such a sucker for heart shapes and polka dots!

To get ready for Indie I Do this Saturday, I hole punched some neon card stock that I already had to make it look like the “confetti / polka dots” on our business cards. I then placed a handful of confetti and the card into a glassine envelope that I purchased on Etsy and sealed everything with a piece of washi tape. Find me at the show to pick one up!

So you have your tickets to Indie I Do this Saturday, but need some help planning your day? No worries! Indie I Do is a boutique wedding show that provides an intimate setting for you to meet some of the best, and creative vendors that you actually want to work with! Canada’s original alternative wedding show, Indie I Do revolutionizes an industry that is dominated by commercial products and provides couples with the opportunity to think outside the box.

Here are the 5 things, I am most excited about!

  1. Photobooth Vancouver: Everybody loves a photobooth! Come say hi and get a snap to take home!
  2. Everlovin’ Press: Vince’s work is absolutely amazing, and you know what I sucker I am for letterpress goods.
  3. East Vanity Parlour: Um, have you met this group of sassy and beautiful girls? They can dance, they can sing, they can rap, and give you a dream hair do!
  4. Performances: Vendors such as Pure Something will have models roaming the venue throughout the day, but keep a look out for shows on the “main stage”: Diva Boutique 11:45 | 12:45 | 13:45 | 15:45, Frocks 12:15 | 13:00, East Vanity Parlour 14:00 | 15:00 | 16:00, Samar (belly dancing!) Noon | 14:30
  5. Swag: Inspired by Got Craft?, Indie I Do swag bags are one of the BEST in town! There are 100 up for grabs (70 for advance ticket purchasers + 30 at the door), so make sure you arrive early!
