Shipping Update

London Fields ShoppeEverybody has been talking about the upcoming Canada Post strike and according to local media, it sounds like a strike has been confirmed to start on Wednesday, July 6th. This means that Canada Post will not operate, deliver or accept new items during this strike and any packages sent this week, may not be processed if the service is shut. For small businesses that rely on online orders, this can be quite frustrating. We have spent the past few days researching the best shipping options and are happy to announce that it will be business as usual during this postal strike.

All US orders received will be sent via USPS and all Canadian and International orders will be sent via a private courier. For those that live locally, we always offer free in-store pick up on all online purchases. If you have any questions or would like to request a shipping quote to your specific location, please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime. Visit our online store by clicking here and thank you for your supporting during this time! x

new item :: vintage finds

LFSCollageLFSPaperOrnamentsHere’s a quick sneak peek on some of the vintage finds that we brought into the shop this week! Two of my biggest weaknesses are vintage Christmas ornaments and vintage children’s illustrations, so I’m surprised that these are even making it to the shop – HA!

clockwise:

A complete set of The Wonderful Worlds of Walt Disney hardcover books – Stories From Other Lands, America, Worlds of Nature, and FantasyLand. Printed by Golden Press in 1965 and in good condition with very minor wear and tear.

Vintage Animal Fun Letter and Object Matching Game and Vintage ABC Push-Out Toy Cards – Two complete children’s games from 1954 / 1955 that are in great condition with almost no visible wear and tear. Would make a fantastic decor piece in a children’s room or as a gift for somebody fond of vintage illustrations!

Paper Vintage Christmas Ornaments! These are probably one of my most favourite items in the shop right now! From an estate of a past window dresser of Eaton’s, these ornaments are absolutely amazing. Sold as a set of 6 (in its original box).

Additional images available upon request. Contact us here for more details or stop by the shop! (Ornaments are available at the shop, but won’t be on display until closer to the holiday season!)
