got craft? swag :: sneak peek!

SwagCollageGotCraft-Dec2015-SwagSwagCollage2Our back storage room is literally being taken over by tote bags and swag items! We are super excited to reveal (piñata llama!) our new tote bag design for the upcoming Got Craft event in December! These limited edition tote bags are hand printed by Locomotive Clothing with an exclusive image designed for us by The Beautiful Project. Only 225 are printed – 100 to be used as swag bags for the holiday event, 100 to be used as swag bags for the spring event, and the rest will be available for sale at the front desk.

Each participating vendor is asked to contribute a minimum of 30 items which are than randomly distributed into 100 tote bags (each tote is worth $20 alone plus 30 items x over 80 vendors = A WHOLE LOT OF GOODNESS!). Be one of the first 50 on Saturday or Sunday to receive a FREE tote! Make sure to arrive early though! Die hard fans have been known to wait in line as early as 6AM equipped with activites, hot beverages, and blankets!

GotCraft-DrawMeALionGot Craft? is taking place this weekend and we rounded up the top 5 things to do at the show!

  1. Be one of the first 50 people through the doors each day to receive a FREE* swag bag with goodies from our vendors and sponsors including up to $300.00** provided by Square. You can check out the post below for a sneak peek of the NEW tote bag design and a glimpse of what could be found in each bag!
  2. Participate in one of the FREE hands on workshops hosted by Spool of Thread sewing lounge, Small Wonder, and Delish General Store. Crafty projects include DIY ornaments, holiday tags, and more!
  3. Treat yourself to some of Vancouver’s best food carts including Taser Grilled Cheese, Ze Bite, and The Kaboom Box!
  4. Support small business and shop from over 75 handmade vendors in a wide assortment of categories including paper goods, jewelry, clothing, ceramics, baked goods, and more! There will be 25% new vendors at the upcoming holiday event including Rogue Florist, Shoreside Studios, Small Wonder, Livia Sweets, Jon Shaw Paintings, to name a few.
  5. Visit the London Fields Shoppe table, our new brick and mortar shop opening soon at 692 East Hastings, to be the first to purchase your favourite goods such as Frankie magazine (christmas issue and 2015 calendars!), herbivore botanicals, merchant and mills, think and ink studio, and more!

Check out the new tote bag designed by the Beautiful Project which will be hand printed by the Locomotive Clothing – cute, right? The first 50 people receive a free swag bag filled with goodies from some of our vendors and sponsors. The picture above shows just over half of the items up for grabs!

We’re also super excited to announce that Square, the official payment processor of Got Craft?, will once again be contributing gift certificates with a combined value of up to $300.00*!
