field trip :: drink, shop and do

A few months ago Robert and I headed near Euston Station to check out the Wills-Moody jumble sale. Afterwards, we decided to head into central London and jumped onto a nearby bus. I guess we didn’t check the map as we somehow ended up going the wrong way and found ourselves at Archway station. Anyways, the good news was that our bus went past Drink, Shop & Do, a cute cafe and shop close to Kings Cross.

Originally a bath house, Drink, Shop & Do is divided into two parts – front: handmade goods, craft supplies (e.g. yarn) and a counter selling sweets and ice cream / back: cafe and bar serving a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes and beverages. The entire place is fitted with retro chairs and tables and food is served on vintage pyrex. Extra yum! The best part? Everything is for sale! Vintage themed tables, chairs, cake stands, plates and cups.. you name it!

Last Friday, Drink, Shop & Do hosted the etsy craft party where people could drop in and make their own pair of tropical earrings. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay as R had made other plans, but it was great to finally check out the space, grab a quick drink and meet some fellow Etsians. If you fancy making stuff, check out the ‘Do‘ section of their website as they have plenty of upcoming workshops such as Father’s Day cards, playing with clay, scrabble Sunday’s and pay what you can 50’s pin-up hair style night on June 23rd. For more details, check out their website here. Thanks for the great time!
