Sign-Painter-John-Lennig-1Sign-Painter-John-Lennig-3Sign-Painter-John-Lennig-4Sign-Painter-John-Lennig-6I wanted to share a few more pictures from our studio tour with John Lennig last week. One of my favourite pictures from that afternoon is the one above of the hammer he created during shop class in high school over 50 years ago! I can’t imagine keeping something for that many years without it going missing!

I know several sign painters who create brilliant work. In addition, my husband makes carved signs by hand with chisels, not by router or computer-controlled routers (it’s a really shrinking niche). So, I’m very happy to discover this film. Thank you.

The trailer wouldn’t play for me either on this site or the film’s website. I had to go to the Vimeo site itself to play it. (No problem there.) If someone is interested and has the same difficulty getting the trailer to play, take the time to go to Vimeo.
