PipeShopSave the date! Got Craft? is on the move once again and are super excited to be popping up in the beautiful community of North Vancouver this December!

Got Craft? 2015 Holiday Edition
Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th, 2015
The Pipe Shop Building at the Shipyards
115 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver

“Say what?! I thought that the Maritime Labour Centre was Got Craft?’s forever home!”

Thank you to everybody that visited us at the Maritime Labour Centre. As much as we loved the venue (that gorgeous mural!) and the East Village / Hastings Sunrise neighbourhood, the venue will most likely be closing their doors in the coming months. Unfortunately, due to the arson fires they had experienced over the past year, their insurance fees has skyrocketed. As many of you may know, finding a suitable venue specifically in East Vancouver is a struggle (minimum 7,500 square foot, accessible via public transit, availability, affordable, allows outside food – carts and vendors, etc) and although the Pipe Shop Building is a temporary venue, we are super excited to be hosting our next event here.

For those unfamiliar with the area, the Pipe Shop Building is where pipe fitters laid out piping systems for new ships in the 1940s. It is a beautifully restored heritage building located in the Shipyard’s Plaza on the City’s waterfront in Lower Lonsdale and is located adjacent to the Lonsdale Quay Market, sea bus and transit hub with plenty of free parking. With windows circling the entire venue, high ceilings with exposed wooden beams, it really is an amazing place to showcase some of the best indie crafts that Got Craft? is known for! Mark your calendars for another amazing event!

If you are interested in applying to be a vendor, online applications are now open until Friday, August 21st and are available on our website by clicking here. If you have any questions about the upcoming event, please read over our application and the FAQ before emailing us.
