giveaway :: Circle Craft

strathconastockingsThe return of the Circle Craft Christmas Market kicks off the holiday craft fair season here in Vancouver. We couldn’t be more excited to check out over 300 BC and Canadian artisans including wordworkers, glass blowers, ceramists, clothing designers and printers, paper goods designers, painters, jewelry designers, toy makers, chocolatiers, bakers, and more.

Circle Craft is an unique BC Artist Cooperative dedicated to providing opportunities for craftspeople to connect with the community. Formed in 1972, Circle Craft has grown to become a major force in the marketing and promotion of quality craft utilizing a ‘direct from the artist’ approach.

My top 5 vendors to check out:

Banquet Atelier & Workshop – A Vancouver-based studio engaged in creating quality goods celebrating the natural world. I’ve been following them on social media for quite some time and can’t wait to check out their work in person.

Strathcona Stockings – Specializes in fine printed socks, objects and leisure wear in unique and interesting patterns painted and drawn by founder / artist Ryley O’Byrne.

Abeego – Saving food naturally, we’ve been using Abeego for years and we’re so proud of their recent brand makeover.

Hold – Focusing on small run and one of a kind objects of beauty and curiosity that explore the intersections of opposites. When I first met Maria years ago, she only concentrate on felted wool bowls, so I can’t wait to check out new line of textile necklaces.

Mellifera Bees – Distinctive, hand-crafted honey infusions of exceptional quality. Need I say more?

Want to win a pair of tickets to the show? Follow us @gotcraftmarket on Instagram for the full details! Hurry! Contest ends Wednesday, November 2nd at 12pm PST.
