Got Craft? hearts their vendors and we wanted to create something special for them to wear. We partnered up with Six Cent Press and The Beautiful Project on these amazing vendor buttons last year and we can’t wait to share our new design for 2016 to celebrate a decade of Got Craft!

This video piece was shot at Six Cent Press headquarters in Vancouver by Giant Ant to acknowledge their 13 years in the business and to showcase the button making process. To learn more about Six Cent Press, visit the links below:

do-it-yourself Button Making

ButtonMakerMake your own buttons at London Fields Shoppe! We have two sizes for you to choose from – 1″ and 1 1/4″. Email us at hello @ for a button making template and follow these easy steps to creating your own personalized buttons!

You can choose to use a computer ready image or print the template provided and draw an image directly on to the paper. Make sure to keep your design within the circle, so that nothing gets cut off – inner circle: your image / outer circle: background colours. Create identical designs or different ones!

Finished button designs need to be printed on a regular weight photocopy / printer paper. Print off the number of button designs that you plan to make. We have a special circle cutter at the shop, so there is no need to hand cut each button design before arriving.

Email us with the time / date you wish to come to the store and make your buttons. A reminder that we are open from 11-5pm Wednesday to Sunday and the last time slot is 3:00pm. I would recommend giving yourself at least an hour depending on the number of buttons you wish to make.

There is a minimum order of 30 buttons of the same size. Less than 30 buttons = $2.00 each plus tax.

1″ buttons – 50 cents each plus tax (based on a minimum of 30 buttons)
1 1/4″ buttons – 60 cents each plus tax (based on a minimum of 30 buttons)

Contact us here if you have any questions!

* Cutter and button maker is for in-store use only.
* Sorry, we do not offer button making services. You will need to come in to the shop and make your own buttons.
* We are unable to offer graphic services to assist you with your button design. If you are looking for some help, we would be happy to recommend a few designers that we have worked with in the past.
* There is no special pricing for large quantities of buttons at this time.

field trip :: tooting summer pop-up event

Got Craft brought out the ol’ button press yesterday and took part in our first DIY button press workshop as part of the SW Craft Club‘s Summer Pop-Up event. We met so many great people including Gillian from Crafty Pint and Melissa from Ms. Cupcake (<- a fellow Canadian too!). Didn't make it to the event? We'll be doing it all again on August 7th at the Landor. Stay tuned for details!

i love :: roxypop designs

I’m popping in here for some shamless promotion of my own line of handmade goods called roxypop designs. Thank you to everybody who has stopped and shopped from my table at various craft fairs in Vancouver as well as the One of a Kind show last December. You can find my work online here or if you are in Vancouver, check me out at Bird on a Wire Creations, Collage Collage, Barefoot Contessa (Main and Commercial Drive), TinyMeat in Portland and hopefully some London shops soon! I’m working hard to fill shop orders right now, but please take a look at some of my goodies on my flickr account or in my etsy shop. Cheers!

summer pop-up event :: tooting tram

I am super excited to announce that Got Craft? will be hosting it’s own craft workshop next month as part of the SW Craft Club‘s Summer Pop-Up event! We have been so lucky to have already met some amazing crafty folks in London. Being new to the country, they have been so helpful and supportive! I heart the handmade community!

We first met Zoe, the found of SW Craft Club over a glass of lemonade a few weeks ago. She is organzing two Summer Pop-Up events:

  • Sunday, July 24th from noon to 4:00 p.m. – Tooting Tram & Social: 46-48 Mitcham Road, London, SW17 9NA
  • Sunday, August 7th from noon to 4:00 p.m. – The Landor: 70 Landor Road, London, SW9 9PH

Got Craft? will be at both events teaching a DIY button workshop. This is your opportunity to make and decorate your own 1.25″ pin back button. We’ll have plenty of designs to choose (see below) or draw your own!

The SW Craft Club Pop-Up Events, have pulled together loads of local crafters under one roof to give you free tasters of different crafts. The event is free to attend, but you do need to sign up on their facebook event page here. There will also be a swap, so bring along your vintage and old clothes to swap, upcycle or make over. Check out the other vendors at the event: Ms. Cupcake, Swish & Pout, A Crafty Pint and Glittering Shards to name a few.

Hope to see you there!
