A to Z of hat styles

Our friend Lindsay and her brother Eric has launched a new project together called A to Z of hat styles – An alphabet of styles, with a personal touch.

Each alphabet card has a hand-drawn illustration of a hat that corresponds to its letter. Originally conceived as a physical piece, this digital version will help you identify any hat next time you are out and about!

If you have an Android tablet or smartphone, you can download the app for free here and make sure to check out Lindsay’s website here!

wedding :: fascinators by emilliner

I have been invited to a fascinator making hen party, so I have been scouring the internet for some eye catching inspiration when I stumbled on Emily Clark’s etsy shop, Emilliner.

With her use of feathers and silk, some of her work reminds me of origami. She combines a nod to vintage millinery and graphic silhouettes, offering the modern bride a stylish alternative to the traditional veil. To see more of her work, visit her website here.
