Sunbury Antiques Market

Find me over at Poppytalk today with a London shop tour of Sunbury Antiques Market! Although it isn’t technically a brick and mortar shop, Sunbury has to be one of the most amazing markets for antiques and vintage goods that I have ever visited. We will definitely have a schedule a visit when we return this summer! See the full tour here.

i love :: collections

I try to not hoard too much stuff in my life, but I do love my collections. Ever since I discovered thrifting, I have started to collect a few things such as drawings / paintings with kittens, water pens, pyrex, and other kitchen items to name a few! There is just something special when you group “like minded” items, and obviously, they make such pretty display pieces!

Do you collect anything? Feel free to leave and comment and share your treasures!

vintage by colour

This was originally suppose to be a post about a collection of pretty yellow pictures that I had come across on pinterest, but then I saw this post by bird + birch, and many hours later, I stumbled across Hilda Grahnat. A photographer and graphic design student based in  Malmö, Sweden, she photographs weddings, among other things, as well as run an online shop. I am in love with her vintage by color (above) collection, but you can see all of her work on her website here.

i love :: lucie ellen

Based in Suffolk, England, Lucie Ellen takes inspiration from girls, the 1940s, birds, 50’s design, teacups and haberdashery to create a line of homewares and jewellery. Using vintage crockery and reclaimed wood that would normally be thrown away, she transform them into brooches, necklaces and earrings.

We’ll take them all please!
